Julie

I am Julie — an artist and explorer of the sensitive
My work was born from an intimate dialogue with the fragility of life, impermanence, and inner transformation.
At the age of 12, I was confronted with the brutal death of my little sister, an event that profoundly altered my relationship to life, the body, fear, and love. This crossing marked my existence through many years of post-traumatic stress, hypervigilance, depression, and an intense search for meaning.
For a long time, I searched for a way to continue existing with this acute awareness of life’s fragility.
Art became that space.
A space where beauty does not deny the shadow, but learns to coexist with it. A space where polarities can finally meet: joy and pain, emptiness and fullness, loss and abundance, softness and power.
The name Flow’rescences embodies the way I now look at the world.
The flow — this living current that moves through us, transforms us, sometimes breaks us apart, yet continually sets us back into motion.
And florescences — the idea of inner blossoming born from the very heart of our human crossings and incarnational journeys.
Today, I see art as a space for the expression of universal consciousness. A space capable of reminding us that everything is fragile — and that this fragility makes existence infinitely precious.
Through watercolor, gold leaf, symbols, and inner landscapes, my work explores the beauty of impermanence, vulnerability, human crossings, and the coexistence of polarities.
I invite you to slow down, to feel, to reconnect with a deeper presence to life, and to inhabit your existence with greater consciousness, beauty, softness, and joy.
May you find, somewhere within my creations, an echo of your soul.
With love,
Julie
